Vision
To start our children on the pathway of learning the English language which will help them develop to their full potential within the school and in the wider community.
Objectives
Opportunities will be provided for pupils with the following aims:
● To enhance English literacy and proficiency by applying the four language skills
(Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing) in their daily lives.
● To become confident speakers, attentive listeners and effective communicators.
● To derive pleasure from English language learning.
● To foster a sense of achievement in learning English.
● To cultivate good reading habits.
● To develop an ever-improving capability to use English for thinking and communicating.
